I have been serving as your Ward 2 School Committee member since January 2025. As a member of the budget and properties subcommittee I have worked hard to understand the complex school and city budget issues.

I am a long-time resident of Northampton and have lived in Ward 2 for the past 8 years.

I have devoted my professional life to serving children and families in various leadership positions, and have been recognized at national, state and local levels for my leadership and advocacy efforts.

For the last 16 years I have worked in our community as the Head Start Director for Community Action Pioneer Valley, serving 400 children a year, overseeing 130 staff and a $12M budget.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Hampshire College, and a Master’s degree in Infant Development and Early Intervention from Bank Street College of Education.

I have extensive special training in child development, systems work, coaching, reflection and strength-based communication, all skills that I brings to my work on the school committee.
